Apple TV +: Adam Scott, already rewarded for his role in the cult series Severance

Severance is undoubtedly one of the best series of recent years. Already cult (and hands down even), the dystopian series is also based on a flawless cast, and in particular Adam Scott, who brilliantly occupies the main role. The fabulous actor Parks and Recreation here plays the role of Mark Scout, an employee of Lumon Industries who chose “separation”, an invasive procedure (a chip is implanted in the brain) which establishes an airtight zone between the memories of private life and the memories of professional life.

Impeccable in this role, Adam Scott will soon receive the Webby Award for best actor at a ceremony which will take place on May 16. The Webby Awards jury has no shortage of superlatives to describe the performance of the American actor: “Highly rated actor, when Adam Scott goes on a streaming show, people want to watch. That’s part of why Severance is one of the most compelling streaming series around. In his portrayal of Mark Scout, the Lumon Industries employee who chooses to “sever” his work and personal life, Adam Scott brings his quiet strength and humor to this dystopian story. Audiences are fascinated by drama “at work” and Adam Scott brings this story of extreme productivity culture to life like no one else can. »

Apple has already given its agreement for season 2 of Severance. All 9 episodes of Season 1 are available on Apple TV+.
