CANNES FESTIVAL – An unexpected return. The rapper Diam’s (Mélanie Georgiades) will make her big comeback to the front of the stage at the 75th Cannes Film Festival 2022 which will be held from May 17 to 28.
The one to whom we owe The Dumpling Where Night confessions will come and present his documentary in a special screening Salam (peace in arabic). This was co-directed with Houda Benyamina, Camera d’or in 2016 at Cannes for divineand Anne Cisse.
The announcement was made this Friday, April 29 in a press release sent by the Festival organization to the press.

Little information has leaked about this documentary and we do not know for the moment if the former rapper will be present in Cannes to present it.
The singer had put an end to her career in the early 2010s after her conversion to Islam. She had since been very discreet in the media.
