Huawei has just launched the regional stage of its traditional “Huawei ICT Competition”, with the aim of contributing to the development of the ICT talent ecosystem and addressing the region’s digital transformation needs. .
To this end, various countries in the region hosted the theoretical and practical exams related to the competition on 25 and 26 April. Faustin Xu, Deputy General Manager of Huawei Morocco, assured that Huawei pays particular attention to the transfer of ICT knowledge and skills to its various stakeholders.
Initiated since 2019 in the form of tours and workshops covering several universities in different countries, this flagship competition, which aims to promote certification in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector, represents a gateway to entry into the digital and digital professions. This year, the competition saw the participation of 85 countries, with a total of 125,061 students registered, including 53,337 in China and 71,724 abroad.
