Teams is now available natively on Apple M1 processors

Despite remote working and the pandemic waning, Teams is here to stay. Countless businesses use the Microsoft app to get organized. And now Microsoft wants to help all users who use computers with Apple M1 processors by offering a native version.

Teams is now available for Apple M1 processors

A year and a half after the release of the ARM64 version, Microsoft released the first beta of the native application for Mac running on Apple Silicon. You can download this beta version from the link below.

As always, the Redmond giant has a particular way of doing things. Although it had a native Windows app on Microsoft Teams ARM, its thing was that it was in the Microsoft Store. However, this app is not in the Microsoft Store but we can download it from this link.

We hope that with the arrival of Microsoft Teams in the Store, it will arrive not only for x86 processors but also for the ARM architecture. It’s surprising that Microsoft offered Teams on Windows ARM much earlier than Apple Teams.

Either way, if you own an Apple device, you can now enjoy the Microsoft Teams experience natively. A substantial performance improvement now also in the architecture of Apple Silicon. It’s been a long time coming, but now you can enjoy the beta.
